Getting Started
What is the Indyo SEO/GEO/AEO Analyzer?
It is an online tool that analyzes any publicly accessible web page across three dimensions: traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). You get a scored report in seconds showing exactly what is working, what needs attention, and what is missing.
What is the difference between SEO, GEO, and AEO?
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) covers the classic signals that help pages rank in Google and Bing — meta tags, Open Graph, heading structure, image alt text, and more.
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) covers signals that help AI-powered search tools like Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, and Perplexity understand and surface your content — schema markup, semantic HTML, E-E-A-T signals, citations, and content freshness.
AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) covers signals that help AI assistants and voice search use your content to directly answer questions — crawlability by AI bots, FAQ and Q&A formatting, featured-snippet readiness, and Knowledge Graph compatibility.

Do I need an account to use the tool?
No. Guests can analyze up to 2 distinct domains per day without signing up. Creating a free account removes that cap, gives you 5 analyses per hour, and saves your last 3 results. Upgrading to Pro gives you up to 50 analyses per day, full history, trend charts, and AI-powered summaries.
Can I analyze any URL?
You can analyze any publicly accessible URL — pages on your own site, competitor pages, landing pages, blog posts, or product pages. The tool cannot analyze pages that require a login or are blocked to automated requests.
Understanding Your Scores
How is the score calculated?
Our scoring system is unique to Indyo. Each check in the SEO, GEO, and AEO categories is evaluated individually. A passed check counts at full weight, a warning counts at half weight, and a failed check counts as zero. The score is the percentage of total possible weight achieved. This gives you a consistent 0–100 number that is directly comparable across pages, over time, and against competitors.
What do the score ranges mean?
85–100 — Excellent: Your page meets nearly all best-practice criteria in this category.
70–84 — Good: Solid foundation with a few improvements possible.
50–69 — Fair: Notable gaps that are worth addressing for meaningful gains.
30–49 — Poor: Significant deficiencies that are likely hurting your visibility.
0–29 — Critical: Major issues that need immediate attention.
70–84 — Good: Solid foundation with a few improvements possible.

0–29 — Critical: Major issues that need immediate attention.
Can I use this to compare my scores against a competitor?
Yes — just run the tool on your competitor's URL and compare. Because every page is scored using the same methodology, the numbers are directly comparable. This is one of the most powerful uses of the tool: identify exactly where a competitor is outperforming you and prioritize those gaps first.
How accurate are the scores?
Scores reflect technical signals that are detectable from a page's publicly visible HTML — they are objective and consistent. However, they are indicators of best-practice compliance, not guarantees of ranking outcomes. Search and AI engine rankings depend on many additional factors (domain authority, backlinks, content quality, personalization) that no automated tool can measure from a single page fetch. Use the scores as a diagnostic and improvement guide, not as a ranking prediction.
My score improved but my rankings didn't change. Why?
Technical improvements take time to be crawled, indexed, and reflected in rankings — often weeks or months. Some factors also have more weight than others with specific engines. The score measures what you control on-page; off-page factors like backlinks and domain authority are outside its scope. Consistent, sustained improvement across all three dimensions is the goal.
Accounts & Billing
What is the difference between the Free and Pro plans?
Free: Up to 5 analyses per hour, last 3 search results visible, history kept for 30 days, full SEO/GEO/AEO reports, email delivery.
Pro ($19/month or $190/year): Up to 50 analyses per day, up to 50 domains tracked, history kept indefinitely, full reports, email delivery, AI-powered improvement summary, score trend charts over time, and priority queue processing.
Pro ($19/month or $190/year): Up to 50 analyses per day, up to 50 domains tracked, history kept indefinitely, full reports, email delivery, AI-powered improvement summary, score trend charts over time, and priority queue processing.
What happens to my search history if I downgrade?
Your search history is preserved for up to 30 days after you downgrade to a free account. After that period it is permanently deleted. If you do not want to lose your history, keep your paid account active. Upgrading again before the 30-day window restores full access to all saved results.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time. You keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period — no partial-month refunds, but you will not be charged again. If you are within the first 7 days of a new subscription and are not satisfied, contact us for a full refund.
Do you offer higher limits for agencies or teams?
Yes. If you need limits beyond the standard Pro plan — more daily analyses, longer retention, or a higher domain cap — contact us and we can configure a custom arrangement on your account.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Your card details are processed and stored entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
Privacy & Data
What data does the tool collect about me?
Guests: only your IP address and the domains you search (used to enforce daily limits, purged daily). Free accounts: your email, URLs analyzed, scores, and search timestamps. Pro accounts: all of the above plus subscription status. We never see your payment card details. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Does analyzing a URL affect the page owner's site?
The tool makes a single HTTP request to fetch the page, similar to a search engine crawler. This is normal web traffic and should have no meaningful impact on the site being analyzed.
Are my results shared with anyone?
No. Your analysis results are private to your account. We do not share individual results with third parties. Aggregate, anonymized statistics may be used internally to improve the service.
